The Atlas Performing Arts Center is the anchor of the redevlopment of H Street NE. The transformation of the early 20th century movie theatre into a 21st century arts complex is nearly complete. Currently performances are taking place in the two lab theatres, Joy of Motion has a full roster of dance and movement classes. The renovations will be complete this fall when two more performance spaces will open in November 2006.
