Bunraku: The Amazing Puppets of Japan

In a special show for “Japan WOW!” at The Smithsonian Associates, Japanese puppetry artists introduce this ancient puppet technique to young audiences. Large rod puppets, exquisitely detailed, are said to be so lifelike that audiences of all ages are captivated by the emotions these puppets portray. Ages 5-10.
